imagesGoogle Latitude, a favorite service of many users has been added with two more interesting features: Google Location History and Google Location Alerts.

When it was first launched in February, Google Latitude has been requested with more interesting features among which was to make Latitude keep track of location history, allowing you (but not your friends) to see where you’ve been at any point in time. google-latitude

Google claims that the new feature, Location History can allow users to review where he or she has been, and it can be seen on Google Earth, Google Maps, or played back on the user’s device. Besides that, although still in beta version, Location Alerts can still provide users’ friend with updates on a user’s comings and goings.

According to Google, Location Alerts works in parallel with Location History. So only going to a strange location or a familiar location at odd times will trigger an alert.

However, said the new features of Google Latitude still meet some community issues as the e-mail program is needed to use Latitude on a desktop PC or a laptop.

People also worry about stalking and other potentially problematic uses of tracking technology. It is certain that no one wants to be kept track of their precise location.

However, Google Latitude seems to be such a comfortable service which allows users to what they want people to see.
