imagesIt is such good news for users who often dream about a wireless chipset that Intel is preparing to produce Kilmer Peak, the wireless chip supporting WiMax, 2.3GHz, 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz.

In some certain markets like Japan, the U.S. and Taiwan, the current WiMax chipsets of Intel just support the 2.5GHz version of WiMax. Kilmer Peak is promised to support both the 2.3GHz and 3.5GHz of WiMax.

Intel also plans to launch Kilmer Peak with Calpella Arrandale notebook early in 2010.
