How to move and resize the Mac OS X Dock
In Mac OS X, the Dock by default is put at the bottom of the screen. It’s good place to store the icons of the applications you often use and quick access to some specific folders or files. Dock is very handy, but you still can resize or move it if you like. Follow these steps:
Step 1
If  you want to move the Dock, do as following:
- Go to Dock Preference pane in System Preferences.
- Under Apple menu, go to the Dock menu item.
- Click on Dock, choose the position, bottom, left or right.
Step 2
In order to change the size of the Dock:
- In System Preferences, go to Dock Preference.
- Under Apple menu, go to Dock menu, slide the Size slider.
