The Xperia Play released late in the previous month in the U.K. Meanwhile, Sony Ericsson expanded three more tablets to its Xperia lineup. Particularly, the Xperia mini, the Xperia mini pro, and the Xperia acro were all introduced in London today. The next-gen model of the Xperia will be released only in Japan, impressed with its 4.2-inch, 854×480 display and impressive custom interface.
The Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro are moving on to the more realistic launches. Both are going to be introduced worldwide soon the third quarter and sport 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processors and Android 2.3, a long with HD video recording which is impressive for their diminutive size.
According to Sony, both are also equipped with Facebook insider Xperia, which is much more than standard Facebook app. It helps the phone a social-focused handset, with Facebook integrated into every element of the phone. There’s also an option to “Like” it through Facebook’s automatically embedded specs. It also means users’ contact list will pull information from Facebook to add photos and interests to their friends.
The mini pro provides users with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard in addition to a touchscreen, and also sports pre-loaded with Office Suite and McAfee antivirus software.
