It is rumored that Apple is refreshing MacBook Pro notebooks with Bluetooth 4.0 and faster processors in the new line-up.

The updated versions have already been displayed in Apple’s inventory systems for imminent launch. It’s likely that Apple’s changes could prepare for broader Siri voice control support across the desktop.

The new MacBook Pro handsets will look the same. In addition, there will still be two 13-inch, two 15-inches and one 17-inch pre-configurations launch. However, the changes are expected to be faster Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. Apple will make its attempt to keep pace with its PC notebook competitors, along with Bluetooth 4.0 in the iPhone 4S. Those new versions are K90IA (13-inch), K91A (15-inch) and K92A (17-inch).
Bluetooth 4.0 is special because it marks a milestone to far lower power requirements. The current Mac mini desktop and MacBook Air ultraportable are already equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 support.
Apple’s updates could well be a goof beginning of Siri to achieve a foothold on OS X desktop. Those with an iPhone 4S which features the intelligent voice control system could utilize their smartphone as a gateway for the AI to take control of their computer, with Bluetooth 4.0.
