imagesWhen Google first launched the Quick Search Box, it has attracted lots of attention from customers as this product has a very interesting ability to turn into a Twitter app. Tweeters feel like it so much as now they can post their Tweets right form the search box. In next short time, Android users will have a good news that Quick Search Box is being planned to launched for their devices to have similar functions from the phone’s home screen.

Google promises that Quick Search Box on Android devices will have more outstanding features as it has cut down on keystrokes. Now users can be provided with suggestions while typing and a single search box to search for a variety of content on their phone, including apps, contacts, and browser history, as well as content from the web, like personalized search suggestions, local business listings, stock quotes, weather, and flight status. Quick Search Box is claimed to be quite intuitive as items which are the most searched for and used will be pulled up.

Another outstanding feature of Quick Search Box for the Android includes the ability to allow third-party developers to suggest in search, letting outside information from any apps make into searchable content. So if the app is built with QSB support, QSB will index the content in the app and it will show up in the box.

However, what a pity that Quick Search Box for the Android does not have the function to let users tweet from the search box itself, but perhaps that plug-in will be added in the near future.
